Junior Eurovision tonight: what is happening?

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 takes place tonight, Saturday 24 October. The show starts at 9 pm Polish time. This year Malta hosts the contest. The singers perform in Ta’ Qali, in the centre of the island. Young artists from 16 countries take part.

Poland’s singer is Wiktor Sas. He is 14 years old and he comes from Przechlewo, a village in Pomerania. In May he won The Voice Kids on TVP. Tonight he sings a song called “Gravity”. In the running order he is number 7, after France and before Armenia.

You can watch the show live on TVP2 and on TVP VOD. If you want to watch, not just see the show from another country, there is a live stream on the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel.

How can people vote?

Voting is online and for free. Anyone can vote on the official website JESC.tv, from any country. Every person can choose three songs.

First round: from 23:59 on Friday until 20:59 on Saturday, just before the show.
Second round: the vote reopens after the last song. It is short – about 15 minutes.
Polish fans can choose “Gravity” as one of their three songs.

Poland has a good history in this contest. Roksana Węgiel won in 2018 and Viki Gabor won in 2019. So Poland won two years in a row. Can Wiktor Sas win again for Poland? We will know tonight. It is such an exciting night for young fans of music.
